a motivated clean in shape bert cooper against alexander povetkin over 12 rounds

 

 

cooper for me would have to win by stoppage and possibly inside the first 8 rounds as he did gas badly at times .saying that though povetkin did not look to good in the closing rounds against huck .

After Povetkins performance on Saturday and also lacking pop at Heavyweight then I would also back 'Smokin' Bert to win. I j=know Bert was unpredictable but he was a solid fighter when properly motivated.

a top cooper wins by tko, saying that as the thread author says smokin bert did gas badly late in fights so a late provetkin tko win is by no means a long shot

Cooper would be on top of Povetkin like white on rice, not giving him room to breathe. Alexander's only hope would be to grab, hold, and try to box until Smokin' Bert ran low on gas and stopped Smoking, which probably would've been a long five or six rounds before we saw that take effect. I'm not sold on Povetkin's holding up till the middle rounds when that happens, so I like Cooper by TKO inside of 5.
