The_budweiser
Daniel Dubois believes he's not far from fighting Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury DANIEL DUBOIS does not view the prospect of himself mixing with the elite of the heavyweight division as a long-term ambition. The 21-year-old London based powerhouse is planning to climb a good few rungs of the heavyweight ladder over the course of 2019 and put the big three - Messrs Fury, Wilder and Joshua - on notice that the emerging force is quickly playing catch-up. Ton
Re: How far is Dubois from fighting Joshua, Wilder and Fury? The performance against Johnson really put some doubts in for me about Dubois. While he is young and still learning, such a hot prospect should probably have got the Johnson out of there early. With Joyce and Gorman on the scene, even Hughie and MAYBE even Price....it's not a given Dubois goes beyond British level.

He had him hurt and nearly down but it was an 8-rounder.
Cableaddict
Re: How far is Dubois from fighting Joshua, Wilder and Fury? I'm still not sold on Dubois, either. Like I've said before, his fundamentals are great, and he has obvious power, but he seems a bit stiff and muscle-bound to me. That's something that probably can't be trained out of him. Maybe a little bit, but not completely. I can' imagine him ever becoming a top three HW, but he certainly has a chance of getting (and losing) a title fight, given the state of the division as a whole. BoztheMadman
Re: How far is Dubois from fighting Joshua, Wilder and Fury? I'm not really thrilled with this new era of huge heavyweights. It's not good for the sport. Makes it less watchable. The bigger you are, the worse is your coordination and of course speed and movement, in most cases. We don't need a wrestling match, we need more boxing.
Dave_
Re: How far is Dubois from fighting Joshua, Wilder and Fury? I still think he will get there but not as quick as he thinks, 2021 and he'll be ready for them all
