The_budweiser
On Saturday night, the World Boxing Super Series will see WBA super middleweight champion George Groves facing off with Chris Eubank Jr. In a semi-final grudge match from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. Eubank Jr., although less bombastic than his father and former world champion Chris, is still very much a star in his own right. Eubank Jr. Is riding a lot of momentum following his knockout of Avni Yildirim in the third-round of his WBSS quarter-final clash on October 7. The_budweiser
Re: Will Chris Eubank Jr ditch his dad if he loses to George Groves? Losing to Groves might end up being the best thing for Eubank if it means he ditches his dad, the showboating and makes fresh changes in his camp. I see Eubank winning the fight though and dancing his way to a UD.

robprosser
Re: Will Chris Eubank Jr ditch his dad if he loses to George Groves? Not a chance. He's firmly under the thumb.
Ton
Re: Will Chris Eubank Jr ditch his dad if he loses to George Groves? No, it's working in getting him in the spotlight, though I'm sure name alone would do that. Think he beats Groves, and very possibly by stoppage too!! WelshDevilRob
Re: Will Chris Eubank Jr ditch his dad if he loses to George Groves? I keep seeing that he's been trained by Floyd Mayweather Snr, in the US? Is that true? They seem a tight knit family, but can see either fighter ditching their trainer. If Groves loses he could retire.

Cableaddict
Re: Will Chris Eubank Jr ditch his dad if he loses to George Groves? Seems like it's still Ronnie Davies: Who is Chris Eubank Jr's trainer? - Boxing News I remember, though, during the Nick Blackwell fight, that the commentators were talking about how Jr was working with some new guy, and a well-known name. Anybody remember who? The main thing is to get dad out of the corner. The man was a great boxer, and he might even be a great trainer for all we know, but from what we've heard during actual fights, he sucks in the corner. No ability to adapt. No plan B. Jr deserves better. Edited February 17, 2018 by Cableaddict
