The_budweiser
Ricky Hatton accuses Eddie Hearn of deliberately giving his fighters maximum advantage; Browne rejects Joshua undercard offer Hatton Promotions have turned down short notice proposals from Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn in respect of a twitter proposed bout on the undercard of Anthony Joshua‘s Cardiff bout on 28th October. The proposed bout was heating up on twitter with the pair both very vocal on the platform and evidently with no love lost. However in the end Ricky has confirmed that it simply was not possible. BoztheMadman
Re: Ricky Hatton accuses Eddie Hearn of..... I believe that totally. Hearn is no stranger to Don King-ish tactics.
The_budweiser
Re: Ricky Hatton accuses Eddie Hearn of..... I agree with Hatton's statement but at the end of the day fighters should be keeping the self's in shape in case an opportunity pops up like this. Also if they keep themselves in shape then at 7 weeks notice they surely should be able to be ring ready? Maybe a true statement from Hatton but it's pretty weak. LondonRingRules
Re: Ricky Hatton accuses Eddie Hearn of..... --- Six weeks is the standard training camp. Plenty do with less, others with more. I suspect it's about money, almost guaranteed. Ricky talkin' nonsense not that Hearns is without fault. Anyway, Browne was supposed to have started training months ago. Who was Brown's opponent, Whyte?
robprosser
Re: Ricky Hatton accuses Eddie Hearn of..... This is a non-story. Fighter turns down fight at 7 weeks notice? If Browne was in any sort of shape he'd take it.
