iamasadlittleboy
TV Tokyo will be showing the IBF Minimumweight title fight between Jose Argumedo (20-3-1, 12) and Hiroto Kyoguchi (7-0, 6). Genuinely have a feeling this one will be an all out tear up. Argumedo is pretty limited and crude but is stupid strong and tough and this is a HUGE stp up for Kyoguchi, who has only gone beyond 3 rounds ONCE en route to winning and defending the OPBF title. A win for Argumedo would see him defending the title in the same country that he won the belt, with his title win coming via technical decision against Katsunari Takayama, whilst a win for Kyoguchi woulkd see a brilliant 2017 continue for the Watanabe gym, who had a crippling 2016 with Uchiyama and Kono both losing world titles! The bout is headlining a Japanese world title double header, with Ryoichi Taguchi (25-2-2, 11) defending his WBA Light Flyweight title against mandatory challenger Robert Barrera (18-1, 12) in the chief support bout. If Taguchi wins a bout with WBO champion Kosei Tanaka is pencilled in to end 2017!
iamasadlittleboy
Re: July 23rd - Mark your calendar for a treat Both guys made weight, Kyoguchi coming in on the limit, Argumedo coming in light at 103.75lbs Argumedo promised a war Kyoguchi stated he wants world peace Argumedo looking for his 4th defense Kyoguchi looking to create a new Japanese speed record, winning a title after just 15 months as a professional!
