Javier Ortega Nieto
Re: Shortest Heavyweight Champions in Boxing History Thanks for the info, the smallest of all was Tyson but them less deserving have is Roy Jones Jr, I think in his fight against Ruiz he was not even able to give the heavyweight though clearly I beat Ruiz in one of to forget those fights in boxing history. gavpowell
Re: Shortest Heavyweight Champions in Boxing History Wasn't Sam Langford a heavyweight champion? He was 5'6. He was the black heavyweight champion but wasn't allowed to fight for the proper one, and then I think he was going to fight Johnson but it never happened. boxeador
Re: Shortest Heavyweight Champions in Boxing History We will not see a heavyweight champion with that kind of size in the next 10 years at least. I´d love to watch a 6 ft tall hungry man cutting down all the trees that now are at the top lists, but it will be so so difficult.

KABOOM is under 6ft.
sould664
Re: Shortest Heavyweight Champions in Boxing History Iron Mike is definitely the greatest 'short' heavyweight boxer of all time! Saw his show in Vegas a few months ago, glad to see him doing well after everything he's been through.
ike
Re: Shortest Heavyweight Champions in Boxing History I am also happy that Mike now has defeated his demons. Another "Short fighter" who deserved the World Champion title was David Tua, 1.78 cm of tremendous left hook. He defeated several world champions but the only chance for the title was against Lennox Lewis
