Oosthuizen to fight Braehmer

On 12 March, "Tommy Gunn" Oosthuizen is fighting for the WBA title against Juergen Braehmer in Germany, of course. It's a surprise to see Oosthuizen stay at 175, because he had problems making the weight (not a surprise, being 6'4 and not that frail!) In his last fight, where he didn't look that good, he failed to make the weight and was stripped of the IBO title. I think he will still present a challenge for Brahmer, being the tallest opponent he yet faced (a half inch taller than Mario Veit) and being technically able.

Sonsona had the potential to be a star, and now he's pissing it away. Tommy had the potential to be...a bit of a star...but has pissed off those around him continually with the weight issues and the such.

Pissing it away, you mean with inactivity? Yeah...thats a shame. Scored a nice ko of Shimoda and avenged the loss to WV2...looked like he was going somewhere. But it still isn't too late.

Not fair on his team to call it inactivity, he's had bouts booked then just not turned up to training camp, he was supposed to fight Jhonny Gonzalez among others and refused to train so his camp apologised and scrapped the bout

Well that sucks...you don't wanna do that. It's highly unprofessional. Someone should smack him around till he wisens up.

Hope it will a decent fight.

Cheering for Braehmer, he should have recovered nicely from his injury. I don't like Tommy's personality that much, missing training camps is just a plain bad move from his part.
